DESCRIPTION:The Lantern Festival takes place on January 15th of the lunar calendar.  The Chinese celebrate for 15 days when a new year begins. The Spring Lantern Festival is the last day of the celebration. The Lantern Festival is celebrated all over the world. It promotes reconciliation\, peace and forgiveness.
